St. Peter’s Altar Society is an organization for the women of the parish community to foster care of the liturgical vessels and vestments used in the liturgy, provide for the decoration of the sanctuary and altar and provide an occasion for social activities and the growth of friendships. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Altar Society room of the Paris Center. Watch the bulletin for other special times and activities. We generally take the month of January and the summer off. Dues are $5.00 and are payable at the beginning of each year.
We are responsible for several fund raising activities to support our mission with the most popular being the St. Peter’s Altar Society Annual Bazaar to be held on November 18, 2017 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The bazaar is held at St. Mary’s Academy across the street.
Returning vendors can call to reserve a spot on March 1st, 2017. New vendors August 1st, 2017. Reserve your space by calling Laurie Miller at 541-993-0448. No other phone number will be accepting reservations.
