Framework Booklet of Required Prayers & Teachings Checklist for Confirmation

As a parent you are the first teacher of passing on the faith to your child, following is a list of prayers and teachings that every Catholic child should know when being presented for the Sacraments of Confirmation. The prayers and teachings are categorized as “Prayers and Teachings you must know”; these prayers and teachings need to be memorized and your child must be able to recite them when asked.

And “Prayers and Teachings You Should Be Strongly Aware Of”, these two categories should be very familiar to your child. They do not have to be memorized verbatim but they should be able to hold an age appropriate conversation about them.
