If your child is 7 years old (or will be at the time of reception of the sacraments) or older and has not been baptized, they will need to go through a separate process called RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children).
In this program your children will be prepared over a 2 year period to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion and they will also be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation as well.
