Message for the 4th Sunday of Lent

March 22, 2020 Readings: 1 Samuel 16:1b, 6-7, 10-13a; Psalm 23:1-6; Ephesians 5:8-14; John 9:1-41 “Rejoice, Jerusalem, and all who love her. Be joyful, all who were in mourning; exult and be satisfied at her consoling breast.” This is the traditional entrance antiphon for this Sunday, from which comes the Latin name “Laetare Sunday”. The word “Laetare” means “rejoice”.
